This game was created by Students and Alumni of Southern New Hampshire University for the BitBridge Halloween Game Jam of 2020.

The themes for the Game Jam were:

  • Ritual
  • Harvest

We decided to go with a spooky ritual-themed game with horror elements.

Hope you enjoy!

The environment you built is really nice and much larger than I would have expected from a game made in a week! The models also look really great and everything has really nice lighting. I managed to get the chandelier to fall on the guy up on the balcony, but whether through physics issues or time constraints, it doesn't seem to bother him terribly. I did a bit more exploring and found some more of the ritualists, so I get the sense there's probably something I should do that either deals with them or brings them to the table in the middle of the big room! My favourite thing you did was the floor with the disappearing squares -- just a really neat feature that makes the player move really carefully.

All in all, a really nice game that exhibits lots of skill and potential! If you decide to work on this any more, I'd definitely come and look.

Here is a partipant's badge for the jam!

Very nice environments and I wandered around for a while! It was a bit laggy and easy-ish to get lost, but I think I ran into a torch puzzle(?) and a spinny crank though not sure what they did. I also had one of the cultists go away on the top level, but not sure what that meant. Sometimes I would see an "E to interact" but I wasn't sure what I was interacting with. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere of the game and wanted to know what was behind those golden doors in the main room. Nice job!

Not a bad game and it looks great! My issue was figuring out what the game wanted me to do. I saw one prompt and it was terribly broken. I had fun playing regardless. Id like to revisit this if its updated.

Sorry about the experience, we ran out of time to fully test out the game and add internal descriptions of what the game entails. There is, however, a possibility to update the game since the game jam this was created for is now over, and then we could port this game over to steam, if we feel that the game is better represented.

No need to be sorry, i clearly did enjoy the experience I had. lo. Im going to watch out for more from you all. Game Jam deadlines can be tough but the overlooked things, in attempt to make it into a Jam, dont make this or any game inherently bad. Keep up the good work!
